Who We Are
We’re a Community-Driven Nonprofit Supporting the Down Syndrome Community in Kern County
Kern Down Syndrome Network (KDSN) is a volunteer-led organization founded by families, for families. We provide connection, support, and resources to individuals with Down syndrome and those who love them—from diagnosis through adulthood.
Whether you’re navigating early intervention, inclusive education, or adulthood transitions, we’re here to walk alongside you.

At Kern Down Syndrome Network, our mission is rooted in connection, community, and compassion. We support individuals with Down syndrome and their families from diagnosis through adulthood—offering encouragement, education, and a network of support that grows with them.
Through inclusive programs, community events, and advocacy efforts, we aim to build a Kern County where every individual with Down syndrome is celebrated, supported, and empowered. Every interaction, event, and resource we provide is designed to create lasting impact for families at every stage of the journey.
